OutdoorSweden is a privately owned swedish company that organizes climbing / abseiling / tyrolean-traverse, clay pigeon shooting, safaris and other outdoor experiences for individuals, companies and groups. OutdoorSweden with its legal name, Gränslöst Uteliv Sverige (Org.nr. 560402-0890), is the responsible organizer. Address: Osebol 23, SE-680 51 Stöllet.
You are welcome to book tours, accommodation and other products offered by OutdoorSweden by telephone, e-mail and internet. When booking, an invoice is obtained with name of the person responsible for booking and payment. This person will hereinafter be referred to as the guest. The guest has to be at least 18 years of age and he/she is obliged to provide OutdoorSweden with accurate booking and contact details. Any changes or cancellations must be made by the guest. The invoice is the agreement between the guest and OutdoorSweden. It should include the products and/or services that was reserved, time/place for the arrangements start/finish together with other eventual conditions agreed by OutdoorSweden in connection with the reservation. Guests who are booking are responsible of reviewing the invoice, and pointing out any possible errors. The contract is confirmed when the guest pays the deposit or the entire amount determined by the invoice to OutdoorSweden within the specified time. When using online booking no extra fee is added to your booking. Online booking for activities can be made up until 1 day prior to the event or arrival.
You can pay your booking on our ‘Events Calendar’ on our booking-site Events.OutdoorSweden.com by Paypal to OutdoorSwedens account or by credit card.
Individuals can also choose to pay cash if they book one day in advanced during their stay in Sweden.(If you want to pay cash, it is not possible to book on our site.) If you want to ensure participation in any of our events, we recommend the on-line booking
Payment by pay-pal or credit card – The booking is contracted when the payment is completed, given that the booking fulfills the particular conditions for respective product. Otherwise the guest is contacted so that it can be corrected for the guest to receive the travel documents. Payment can be engaged via credit card (VISA – Maestro – Master Card – American Express).
We charge you the full amount immediately when you purchase a payment.
Cancellation is to be made by the guest to OutdoorSwedens office, via phone at 073 8261136 (if the office isn’t open, leave a message to the answering machine) or via e-mail at info@OutdoorSweden.com
When cancelling 31 days prior to arrival or earlier a handling charge of 100 SEK/adult and 50 SEK/child is debited.
When cancelling between 30 and 15 days prior to arrival, the expedition cost and an additional 15% of the bookings total (with a minimum of 150 SEK/adult and 75 SEK/child) are debited.
When cancelling within 14 days to 72 hours before arrival, the expedition cost and an additional 50% of the bookings total are debited.
If cancelled within 72 hours before arrival, the full amount is charged.
Modification of date is considered a cancellation and will be treated as one. Please note that one change of dates within the current season can be made without additional fees if this is done by the guest at or before 15 days prior to arrival, in subject to availability. Other alterations of the reservation such as adding people or products can be done (if such a service is available). Contact OutdoorSweden via e-mail or phone.
*OutdoorSweden does not have a cancellation insurance in its package.
We advise you to join a third party for a Cancellation insurance when booking. Note that this is an advice: Outdoor Sweden takes no liability of any insurance policy with third parties, this is an agreement between the guest and the third party. The most Cancellation insurances protect the guest. They will pay cancellation fees if an activity is cancelled due to one of the following reasons:
a) Severe disease, accident or case of death that affect the guest, a close relative to the guest, or if the person travelling with the guest has cancelled due to one of the reasons given above.
b) Other unpredictable incident that affects the guest of such magnitude that the guest could not attend the reserved event, such as a fire accident in the home.
Being able to receive important messages at the phone number or e-mail address provided when making the reservation. Check the confirmation invoice to assure that it contains the correct information. Errors shall be pointed out promptly. The guest will inform his/her fellow travellers about what has been booked and the conditions for the event. Please have an insurance that would cover any possible damage that can occur to the guests privately owned equipment if it for some reason is transported by OutdoorSwedens vehicles.
2) At events in the nature (climbing, shooting, canoeing, et cetera)
The guest should be prepared with appropriate clothing for outdoor activities and he/she should approach on-water activities with caution, at all times. All adults in the group have to be able to swim.
The guest is responsible for rented equipment to be returned on time, intact and clean, at the final destination specified by OutdoorSweden. Lost goods/equipment will have to be paid with the replacement cost for the item. The guest shall always report arisen damages and pay the repair cost.
At the start of the journey, the guest will be asked to sign a contract where he/she states that they have agreed to perform the activity and that they understand the concepts of the right of public access to nature, risks and personal responsibility, and that they have made the assessment to be able to conduct the activity on the basis of the information given.
The guest commits to a penalty of 2000 SEK that goes directly to the affected landowner, if he/she starts a fire during a fire ban, or if he/she throws disposable garbage in nature.
For canoeing the following applies: Children 15 years and younger are required to be accompanied by an adult. For white-water you have to be at least 18 years old, able to swim, have good canoeing experience and be two adults per canoe. The guest is debited if the arrangement is cancelled at location other than agreed with OutdoorSweden.
3) At accommodation
Smoking is prohibited in all cottages, rooms and other buildings. The guests bring their own bed linen if this hasn’t been rented when booking. The guest should clean the cottage/room if no cleaning services have been booked the day before arrival, at the latest. All keys to rented cottage/room are to be returned at departure. The guest is responsible for any damage that occurs onto the property and its furniture if the guest and his fellow travellers have been careless. In the cottage/room no unauthorized people are allowed to live, only the amount of people that was provided when booking. Between 22.00 and 07.00 the guest is to observe the utmost account and silence, due to other guests in the area. If complaints about disorder are filed from other guests to OutdoorSweden, we have the right to execute an immediate eviction of the guest if correction is not made instantly when ordered to. No refund is available for any remaining period of residence.
When the full payment for the event arrangements has been received, OutdoorSweden will provide the guest with travel documents about the journey.
OutdoorSweden sees to it that for all arrangements in the nature, you will have had a proper briefing before starting. The briefing will help the guest achieve greater knowledge in the event he is attending, for example how to handel a weapon, how to canoe properly, safety, right of public access to nature, etc.
OutdoorSweden provides life jackets if you are going canoeing and provides hearing and eye protection for shooting. With events at height,such as climbing and abseiling, a climbing harness and climbing helmet are provided and safety rules are instructed.
During an event, OutdoorSweden will provide advice and instructions concerning the canoe, so that the guest is able to fulfil the canoeing to final destination to no additional cost.
All arrangements located in a natural environment are exposed for prevailing weather conditions. Because of thaw and rain, spring time often leads to higher water levels in the watercourses where OutdoorSwedens activities are located. At the dry summer season the opposite may occur. All watercourses are regulated, meaning the human factor can also play its role. OutdoorSweden reserve the rights to alter an arrangement due to external factors we can’t control.
Any eventual complaints about the arrangement have to be presented immediately by the guest to OutdoorSwedens office by phone 073 8261136 or to any instructor working for OutdoorSweden. It is important that the guest communicates these complaints so that OutdoorSweden has the opportunity to solve the issue as soon as possible. If the guest has failed to express his/her complaint we cannot offer compensation. If the guest still isn’t pleased with the solution or the compensation provided, a written complaint is to be sent to OutdoorSweden within 14 days after the arrangement has ended. If the guest and OutdoorSweden disagrees, the guest can turn to the National Board for Consumer Complaints (ARN), whose decision OutdoorSweden will yield.
Personal Data Act
When paying for the arrangement to OutdoorSweden the guest agrees to that all personal data may be used for internal administration purposes by OutdoorSweden. OutdoorSweden will take all necessary measurements to assure that the personal data of the guest is treated safely.
Both parties have the rights to withdraw from the arrangement if it can not be executed due to war, natural disasters, labour disputes, major disruption of water or energy supply, outbreak of fire or any other similar major event that precludes the journey from being completed. Events that the organizer cannot foresee or influence when the agreement was made. During these circumstances the organizer is not obliged to pay any indemnity fees or other penalties.

Contractual and legal relationship between guest and OutdoorSweden is solely based on Swedish law.
